| ABMA Endorsement Process |
|
Welcome New Member As you know, Professional, Active, and Emeritus levels of membership require two letters of endorsement from current members. Endorsement insures the integrity of our membership levels. Please follw the instructions below to complete the endorsement process. As a Lifetime Professional, Professional or Emeritus member, you must submit letters of endorsement from two current Professional members that are from two different institutions. As an Active member, you must submit letters of endorsement from two current Professional or Active members that are also from two different institutions. To request a letter of endorsement from a current member, search the Member Directory for the name of a current member who can verify your credentials. From the Member Directory, you can search by membership type, name or other important fields by clicking on the Search Users link in the upper right corner. Once you find a member who can endorse you, click on their photo or name to access their member profile. Under the Member "Info" tab, you will be able to send them an email directly. Use this e-mail link to request an endorsement. Let your endorser know what level of membership you are applying for. Copy and paste the sentence below into your e-mail to give your endorser a direct link to the endorsement section of the web site, or direct them to access the site by clicking on Membership > Endorsements from the ABMA home page. Please click on this link to access the Endorsement instructions. You currently have full membership benefits at the level you applied for. You will be granted 30 days to complete the endorsement process. You can track the endorsement process by clicking on your own member profile (Membership > My Member Profile). Click on the Endorsements tab to see if your endorsers have sent in their endorsement e-mails. If you have any problems please contact us. Thank you and welcome to ABMA. |
