Welcome to the ABMA.

The Animal Behavior management Alliance (ABMA) is a not-for-profit corporation with a membership comprised of animal care professionals and other individuals interested in enhancing animal care through training and enrichment.  The ABMA is intended to be nurturing and informative, and was created to serve trainers, handlers, and keepers of animals, irrespective of Species, with information and assistance in the behavior management of their charges.  Please go to What is ABMA for more information.

A fresh new look for Wellspring.

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, the ABMA has decided to change to an electronic version for all issues of Wellspring starting in 2011!  ABMA members will be able to view and download current and archive issues of our quarterly newsletter from this ABMA website.  If you would like to "opt in" to the familiar paper option please contact us!

2010 ABMA Conference News!

We celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the ABMA in style at the 2010 ABMA Conference!  The conference in Pittsburgh was a great success - we will be posting a conference wrap-up soon in the Conference section.  Also, soon look for some great photos of the festivities!
