Thank you for your interest in the Animal Behavior Management Alliance!  Please review our membership benefits and the descriptions of membership levels listed below before proceeding with the registration process.  You can sign up for auto-renew of your membership by saving your credit card during your purchase- this is optional.   If you are a member and were automatically directed to this page then your membership has recently expired and we encourage you to renew.

Our credit card transaction will appear on your credit card statement from PayPal as either THEABMA or THEANIMALBEHAVIOR. If you file a dispute over an ABMA transaction, either with your credit card company or PayPal, which turns out to be an approved ABMA transaction, you will incur any PayPal fees (~$20) associated with resolving this error for which the ABMA was charged.

9. Collaborative First Time Membership - $0.00

ABMA Collaborative First Time Membership is a program that offers ten (10) free memberships annually. This program is intended to help individuals who are less familiar with the organization become members for the first time to get a taste of what the ABMA is all about. The new member will have access to all the benefits of an Active membership and will be asked to actively support the ABMA by auditing a committee of their choice.

Applications for the program will be accepted twice a year (November-April and May-October) and five (5) individuals will be chosen each round by the ABMA Board of Directors based on their submissions.  If you are chosen, the ABMA will manually create your account and you will be notified of your login credentials.  This is good for a one (1) year ABMA active membership.

10. Sliding Scale Membership - $35.00

The Animal Behavior Management Alliance is implementing a sliding scale membership model to improve accessibility and inclusivity.  The membership fees have been adjusted based on a country’s general income range, in comparison to that of the United States. The goal is to increase global participation and accessibility to the ABMA.  View the Sliding Scale Membership chart.  To use the chart: 1)Find your country 2)Identify the membership level you wish to apply for 3)Use the application link below to submit your request for a sliding scale membership.
